We are delighted to announce an exciting milestone in our continued growth journey.

From 30 June 2026, our Auckland operations will officially relocate to a larger and more modern office on Level 20 of the iconic SAP Tower in Queen Street.

This move reflects the continued expansion of our client base, the increasing demand for specialist trans-Tasman advisory services, and our long-term commitment to supporting businesses operating between New Zealand and Australia.

Over recent years, we have seen significant growth in the number of Australian-controlled businesses seeking specialist New Zealand accounting, tax, company administration, and registered office support. As regulatory scrutiny in this area continues to evolve, businesses are increasingly recognising the value of working with advisers who focus specifically on the unique requirements of trans-Tasman structures.

Our new Auckland premises will provide enhanced capacity for our growing team and allow us to continue delivering the responsive, specialist support our clients value.

Important Information for our Registered Office Clients

For clients who utilise our Registered Office Service, there will be a formal change of registered office address to:

C/- NZ Tax Accountants Limited,
Level 20, SAP Tower, 151 Queen Street,
Auckland Central, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand

Under New Zealand company law, a company’s Registered Office cannot be changed without the approval of the Directors. Accordingly, over the coming weeks we will be issuing Director resolutions for signing to affected clients before lodging the required notifications with the New Zealand Companies Office.

We encourage clients to review and return these resolutions promptly. Under New Zealand company law, notice of a Registered Office change must be provided at least 10 working days before the effective date of the move. Returning the signed resolutions as soon as possible will assist us in completing the required filings and ensuring a seamless transition ahead of 30 June 2026.

Our team will manage the filing process once the signed approvals are received.

Growing Demand for Specialist Trans-Tasman Advice

The trans-Tasman business environment continues to become more sophisticated, particularly as Inland Revenue increases its focus on the tax and accounting treatment of New Zealand businesses managed or controlled from Australia.

Recent statistics released in New Zealand indicate a substantial increase in review and compliance activity, with review activity reportedly increasing by more than 64% in some areas. This reflects Inland Revenue’s broader focus on governance, permanent establishment risk, management and control considerations, transfer pricing, and the practical operation of cross-border entities.

Importantly, this does not mean businesses should be alarmed. Rather, it reinforces the importance of obtaining specialist advice from professionals who work in this area every day.
At our firm, supporting Australian-controlled New Zealand entities is not a side offering — it is our core focus. Our clients can take confidence in knowing their structures, governance processes, and compliance obligations are being managed by a team that understands the practical realities of operating across both jurisdictions.

Our approach has always been to ensure clients are well prepared, well documented, and well advised from the outset.

Looking Ahead

This move represents more than simply a change of address. It marks another important step in our evolution as a leading specialist provider to trans-Tasman businesses.

We would like to sincerely thank our clients, referral partners, and professional networks for their continued support and trust. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to welcoming clients and partners to our new Auckland office from July 2026.

Further updates, including new contact and visitor details, will be provided closer to the relocation date.
